Moments caught on film hold memories of places and times once experienced.  It is the small pieces of life and the places difficult to get to that, I find the most inspirational.  Much of the photography that I am most drawn to is capturing these moments in a way that doesn’t only display what I saw, but also captures a bit of the feeling in the moment that I had in experiencing them. My paintings are created out of energy and movement.  Color moves and flows together creating a new mix of emotion.  The paintings begin with a plan,but during their creation they become a mix of what was planned and the spontaneity of the moment. Both my photography and painting is about sharing the beauty of an experience with the viewer and therefore sharing a bit of me with someone else, creating a human connection.  These moments become part of my story, which I present to all of those who wish to pause and become part of my world.
